Character Creation Project

This is a character creator I did in 2020 for a UE4 General Developer job listing. It was 1 of 3 projects chosen among 50+ competitors. The project took about 35hrs to be made.

All the assets I was given was the woman model along with her clothes, and was instructed into creating a character creation in any way I like.  I added a TV Studio assets pack to create a studio scenario.

I had two main influences: The Sims, where the characters stand in front of a mirror, so the player can clearly see both sides of their characters, and Cyberpunk 1.0, where you choose your clothes using arrows. 

I used masks provided with the model, to mask parts of the body depending on what clothes the player chooses. The clothes animation also syncs up with the character in real time, preventing pops and animation reset.

The project also features a simple welcome screen, with cinematics in the background.
